“Moreover let us be full of joy now – let us exalt and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character of this sort produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.
Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us”. (Amplified)
Healing is the art of expressing love for our brothers and sisters in life.
When we encourage them, we heal their wounds of fear.
When we forgive their errors, we heal their guilt.
When we give to their bodily needs, we heal their lack.
When we give them compassion, we heal their anguish and dread.
When we embrace them, we heal their sense of aloneness.
When we teach them truth, we heal their ignorance.
When we share with them a [particular] in creation, we heal their perception.
When we praise [them] just for their being, we heal their self esteem.
When we give them love from our hearts, we heal their separation from life.
When do these things for one another, we do it because the love of Christ is in us and Jesus said “if you do it for the least of my brethren you do it for Me” and we also will be healed.
