The Price

Think, I dare you, of the love which Our Lord has shown
Through His suffering and pain, such as none has known.

Set at nought and mocked, was He, by all in Herod’s hall;
Scourged in Pilate’s palace; friendless through it all.

Driven by indifferent men up to Calvary;
Hung by nails upon a cross – Oh Lord! All that for me?

Naked, twixt two sinners; set in public view.
Think! He suffered all of that, just for me – and you.
